Last week in Detroit was the North American Internal Auto Show where auto manufacturers come to show off their latest and greatest new models and concept cars. Ford was there, showing off their latest speed demon – the Ford GT.
It’s been nearly ten years since Ford last put out their GT vehicle, and while we hate waiting, we must admit it was worth the long wait. The new Ford GT has a 3.5L TwinTubro V6 engine that puts more than 600 horses under its hood. Of course the Ford GT is more than just a powerful racer, it’s a stylish statement.
The Ford GT’s electric blue exterior has vertical opening doors much like the BMW i8, and its aerodynamic design culminates with its dual center mounted exhaust pipes.
The last time the Ford GT was released in 2005-2006, Ford only made 4,038 GTs and they say that this GT will be even more exclusive than the previous. If you want to get your hands on one of these exclusive vehicles, you’ll have to pay a pretty penny. These Ford GTs are expected to go for somewhere between $250,000-$300,000.
