Here at Brown Motors we love all of the new technology that you can now get in your car such as the Ford Sync3 voice-activated technology system with a color touch screen and WiFi connectivity or the Uconnect ® systems available on new Chrysler models with its SiriusXM Traffic updates and WiFi hotspot accessibility. Now, we have even more to be excited about since Ford recently announced that they would be partnering back up with Microsoft to develop even better car-connected services.
We think that Ford’s current car-connected services are pretty great, but the new features that this partnership would offer are even better. For starters, this new Microsoft-Ford partnership would enable Ford to use the WiFi connection to identify any issues your car was having, tell you about regular maintenance, and alert your insurance company of any damage done to your vehicle. This technology is also designed to help Ford learn how we use our car technology systems so they can create even better solutions for their future models.
