There are few cars that have lasted throughout the years with almost the exact same design and the Jeep Wrangler just happens to be one of them. Known as having a bit of a cult following, there are many purist fans that would be upset if the Wrangler’s design changed, even a little, so it might come as a surprise that Jeep might be making a major change to this rugged SUV.
With the next-generation Jeep Wrangler on the horizon, speculation has been running rampant on the vehicle’s new design. While changes aren’t expected to be significant, there has been a lot of talk in the rumor mill that suggest the Chrysler Group will make the next model a Jeep Wrangler with an aluminum body. Similar to the new Ford F-150, the Wrangler’s new aluminum body will use aluminum instead of steel and won’t be a unibody like it traditionally is.
While Chrysler has yet to comment on the possibility of a Jeep Wrangler aluminum body, we can’t help but get a bit excited. Check out all of our Jeep inventory today at Brown Motors!
