At the end of the day, a lot of automakers make a lot of promises. This is no truer than in the truck market, where promises that this truck or that truck is the toughest abound.
But when it comes down to it, the real question is: Are Ford trucks really tough? Well, Ford has decided to give real-world truck customers a glimpse at the power of the Ford Super Duty power. They allowed these truck customers to witness the torture testing of all-new F-Series Super Duty before anyone else gets to see it—because only real tough workers use this awesome truck.
According to a recent press release from Ford, the following types of workers drive this particular truck: 58 percent of electric, gas and sanitation workers; 50 percent of forestry workers; 50 percent of oil and gas extraction; 48 percent of heavy construction workers; and 42 percent of manufacturing workers. With this variety of customers, it’s important to have a truck that gets the work done—and the Ford Super Duty does just that.
So, what’s so special about the latest Ford Super Duty? First of all, it’s got an all-new, high-strength steel frame. There are also the strong axles, springs and suspension. The Ford Super Duty is in fact so tough that you can hang nine trucks on its frame. Watch it here!
